• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, voice, and swallowing functions in patients. • Utilize standardized tests and clinical observations to diagnose disorders. • Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to gather relevant information. • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results. • Provide therapy for speech, language, and voice disorders, as well as swallowing difficulties. • Use various therapeutic techniques and technologies to meet patient needs. • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. • Educate patients and their families about communication and swallowing disorders. • Provide training on strategies to enhance speech and language skills at home. • Offer guidance on dietary modifications and safe swallowing techniques. • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists. • Participate in patient care conferences and contribute to treatment planning. • Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and team members. • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress. • Prepare reports for healthcare providers and insurance companies as needed. • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards. • Participate in regular supervision and mentorship sessions with a licensed SLP. • Stay current with advancements in speech therapy practices and techniques.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. • Temporary CA state license or certification to practice as a Speech Therapist CFY. • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Valid CA License
