Description
• Develop low-cost launch vehicles for the small satellite industry • Manufacture development and production parts for a satellite launch vehicle using multi-axis Lathe programming and machining • Use Mastercam and Vericut for programming and verification • Machining parts from materials such as Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, and Inconel on Haas Machining Centers • Create, edit, and maintain CNC programs • Operate CNC equipment to produce conforming hardware • Perform inspections, machine maintenance, and post-machining operations • Submit purchase orders for tooling and develop machining process order of operations • Requirements include 3+ years of CNC lathe programming and machining experience, and familiarity with ISO9001 and AS9100D
Requirements
• 3+ years of CNC lathe programming and machining experience • High School diploma or GED • Experience with GD&T, inspection tools, Mastercam, Haas CNC Machines, and Vericut software • Hands-on experience with metal 3D printed components • Experience in aerospace, medical, or automotive manufacturing • Strong oral and written communication • Familiarity with ISO9001 and AS9100D
