• Manages ACE’s diverse finance functions • Prepares and reviews financial documents, reports, and statements • Oversees all accounting procedures • Advises on general financial matters • Works closely with ACE’s external accounting firm, auditors, the staff Executive Team, and the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors
• BS degree in Finance or Accounting, Masters preferred • At least 5-7 years of experience in accounting and financial analysis within a non-profit organization • Knowledge of non-profit grants rules and regulations according to the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) • Proficiency in financial software applications (Quickbooks) • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite • Strong mathematical and analytical skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Demonstrable knowledge of regulatory requirements and GAAP principles • Strong analytic skills including creative approaches to problem solving • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct • Experience leading or supporting an audit with a nonprofit entity
