Description
• AE Studio is a development, data science, and design studio that works closely with founders and executives • Focus on creating custom software and machine learning solutions • Located in LA with a team of highly-skilled developers, data scientists, and humorists • Worked with well-known entities such as Samsung, Walmart, Berkshire Hathaway • Cutting-edge brain computer interface (BCI) R&D • Solve the problem of AI alignment • Optimize for human agency • Support research efforts • Python fluency • Proven data science experience • Comfort with statistics and methods in classification problems • Familiarity with NLP/NLU • Experience calling machine learning APIs • Agile experience • Growth mindset • Willingness to learn AE systems • Ability to work independently • Effective communication skills • Fluency in English
Requirements
• Strong problem-solving skills • Disposition suited for self-management • Gilbert and Sullivan parody composition • Experience with self-managed data science projects • Software development background • Experience with deep learning-based computer vision or NLP models • JavaScript/Node.js experience • Clean Code, Unit Tests • Experience managing clients and client relationships • Experience in Startups • Care about AI alignment • Optimistic in humanity’s capacity to problem solve • Full-time availability • Ability to communicate effectively and work exclusively in English • Bonus points for obscure references or cool side hustles
