• Joining a high functioning Corporate Legal team, this position will oversee and manage all legal matters related to general corporate work, corporate governance, fundraising, mergers & acquisitions, supporting the group’s international expansion, managing the IP portfolio, marketing initiatives, and other legal issues affecting the Americas. • You will strategically partner with corporate development, the company secretary and marketing, providing proactive and effective legal support to enable the region to achieve their ambitious business goals. • This role is based in San Francisco, New York City or Austin.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in financial services and corporate law preferably at a fast-growing tech startup or top tier law firm • Juris Doctor from a reputable law school • Member of a US State Bar association in good standing • A keen interest in financial services regulation and the fintech industry • In-depth knowledge of the legal and business environment in the Americas region • Outstanding negotiation, communication, and leadership skills • The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams • Demonstrated capability in managing and leading outside counsel • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Spanish and/or Mandarin fluency
