• Design and implement controls modules for off-road vehicles • Characterize dynamics of customers' vehicles • Evaluate academic research to create optimal-control-based solutions • Collaborate with customers' engineers and manage customer relationships
• Passion for challenging control problems in off-road environments • 3+ years of experience in building production software • Hands-on experience testing controls solutions on vehicles • Fluency in differential equations, numerical optimization, and physics • Enthusiasm for practical solutions in a fast-paced environment • Nice to have: MSc or PhD in mechanical engineering or computer science • Nice to have: Experience with safety-critical C++ code development • Nice to have: Experience with quadratic programming solvers and nonlinear optimization tools • Nice to have: Experience with machine learning in vehicle dynamics modeling • Nice to have: Experience in writing high-performance C++ code • Nice to have: Experience with large industrial vehicles in off-road environments
