• Provide a partial caseload for direct services to victims of all ages impacted by crime, hate, and violence through comprehensive mental health treatment services via individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and case management as needed. • Manage CHU program crisis situations by serving as the primary point of contact, leading the crisis care intervention and coordination among staff, developing and updating CHU crisis protocols, and conducting post-crisis debriefs. • Oversee victim centered and trauma informed care, and as needed collaborate and provide CHU program training to various AHS departments and external providers, agencies, and partners. • Lead/organize case consultations, care coordination, vicarious trauma support, huddles, peer consultation, and other patient care meetings as related to CHU program clients and services. • Identify, address, and bridge barriers and gaps in victim care by creating targeted trainings, developing protocols and tools for CHU team, and staying current with evolving challenges.
• Master’s Degree in social work or counseling required. • Must be licensed within the State of California for minimum of two (2) years as LCSW, MFT, LPCC, or equivalent. • Two years of clinical supervision in a counseling therapy setting, community health setting, or equivalent experience. • Experience with brief and long-term psychotherapy. • Trauma and crisis experience. • Must be able to supervise ASW, ASMFT, APCC and student interns.
