• Broadly responsible for budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis, and with leadership of FP&A activities for government programs • Deep collaboration with government sales, engineering and program management teams to build a detailed understanding of cash management, sales planning, operating costs, and capital spending • Support rapid scaling and growth by implementing best-in-class processes, procedures and systems • Create financial analyses to solve problems across Astranis, including pricing, corporate development, capital raising, investor communications, and other activities
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field • 5-15 years of experience in FP&A for US government programs, including as a Cost Estimator, Pricing Manager, and/or Finance Manager • MUST have experience at a US-based defense contractor for aerospace and/or military programs • Ability to thrive in an unstructured and rapidly scaling startup environment • Strong analytical skills, and ability to interpret complex data and financial concepts • Effective communicator of financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences • Identifies areas to instill discipline and process where appropriate • Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic • Seeking a challenge and career development • Above all, you are a good person!
