Description
• Work closely with autonomy and hardware teams on ML technology • Develop long-term perspectives on ML software and hardware strategy • Maintain relationships with players in the ML ecosystem • Execute internal research and development of ML technology • Communicate high-impact findings to Engineering leadership • Drive value to key engineering stakeholders
Requirements
• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related field • Strong programming skills in C++ and Python • Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, MXNet, etc.) • Basic understanding of computer vision deep learning models • Strong analytical skills for performance troubleshooting • Familiarity with CUDA, OpenCL, SIMD programming models • Familiarity with ML-specific accelerators (NPUs, TPUs, IPUs, etc...) • Ability to learn and adapt to new technology • Experience in a fast-growing environment • Strong communication skills • Comfortable with Linux/other Unix environments
