• Learn and assist with the diverse legal needs of underserved and marginalized communities throughout the Bay Area • Represent low-income survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in various family court proceedings • Represent immigrant survivors of interpersonal violence in seeking immigration relief • Conduct domestic violence restraining order clinics • Provide workshops and technical assistance to community partners and client communities • Engage in collaboration with public and private community partners • Engage in other tasks and projects to further BayLegal's mission and operations
• Commitment to fostering inclusivity and equity • Member of CA Bar in good standing or eligible for California practice • Minimum 2 years relevant family law experience • Bilingual ability preferred • Proficiency in technological equipment • Strong time management and organization skills • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a team • Curious, self-directed, and proactive • Driver's license and access to a car
