• Represent low-income survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in family court proceedings • Assist with diverse legal needs of underserved communities • Conduct Domestic Violence Restraining Order Clinics • Provide workshops and technical assistance on family law • Collaborate with public and private community partners • Manage multiple projects and tasks that further BayLegal's mission and operations as a non-profit
• Must have received or be willing to receive and maintain up to date COVID-19 vaccination • Member of CA Bar in good standing or eligible to practice in California under the Registered Legal Services Attorney Program • Minimum two years relevant family law experience • Bilingual ability preferred • Proficiency in technological equipment and software • Experience in working with survivors of trauma • Commitment to complying with legal rules and standards • Ability to manage diverse activities, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills • Driver’s license and access to a car • Ability to work in-person at least three days per week at a BayLegal office or community-based advocacy site
