Description
• Manage a caseload of workers compensation cases, perform file review, conduct legal research, and develop legal strategies • Prepare legal documents, pleadings, motions, and trial briefs • Communicate legal advice to Adjusting staff, negotiate settlements, and attend legal proceedings • Provide ongoing legal education and training to staff
Requirements
• Law degree (LLB or JD) from an accredited law school • Minimum 3 years of experience litigating workers compensation cases in California • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret legal documents • Strong negotiation skills, mathematical ability, and reasoning skills • Proficiency in workers' compensation law, claims adjusting, and Microsoft Office applications
Benefits
