Description
• Manage a caseload of workers compensation cases • Conduct legal research and provide plan of action • Prepare legal documents and defense strategies • Communicate legal advice to Adjusting staff • Attend interviews and proceedings, negotiate settlements • Participate in ongoing education and training • Utilize support staff and follow department/company protocols
Requirements
• Law degree (LLB or JD) from an accredited law school • 10 years of experience litigating workers compensation cases • Member in good standing with the State Bar of California • Ability to read and analyze complex legal documents • Strong negotiation skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CounselLink • Solving practical problems and dealing with concrete variables
Benefits
