Description

• Manage the delivery and operation of high-quality software that enables clinician adoption of BillionToOne’s genetic tests • Develop and implement software development processes and best practices to enhance team execution and ensure high-quality products. Use data to identify bottlenecks and improve them • Provide hands-on leadership by example through designing, reviewing, and writing code • Lead technical planning • Collaborate with Design and Product Management to deliver efficient and informative • Mentor and guide a team of 3-6 software engineers in their technical and professional development • Manage the hiring process to bring on new talent as needed

Requirements

• B.Sc/M.Sc degree in Computer Science or Bioinformatics • 5+ years hands-on experience designing, building, and scaling consumer-facing web applications in digital health or diagnostics • 3+ years of experience as a hands-on Software Engineering Manager • Experience at 0-1 startups or growth companies preferred • Strong knowledge of web technology across front-end and back-end: Javascript, React, Postgres, Python • Strong knowledge of cloud architecture and devops (e.g. Docker, AWS, Sentry, Datadog)
