Description

• Install, configure, manage, and maintain Linux servers • Implement system tuning to enhance performance and ensure high availability and reliability • Perform day-to-day operations and maintenance of application systems, including software upgrades and patch management • Monitor system performance, promptly identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and potential issues • Analyze system logs to identify the root cause of issues and develop and implement solutions • Develop and execute backup and recovery strategies to ensure data security and integrity • Write and maintain system administration documentation and operational procedures • Collaborate with development teams for application deployment and environment setup • Participate in system architecture design and optimization, providing improvement recommendations • Implement security measures to ensure the safety and security of systems and data

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field • Over 5 years of experience in Linux system administration, with extensive experience in system tuning and performance optimization • Proficiency in configuring and managing common Linux distributions (such as CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat) • Proficiency in Shell scripting; familiarity with programming languages such as Python and Perl is a plus • Experience in storage system management, including NetApp, Ceph, and ZFS • Experience with automation tools for system management and deployment (such as Ansible, PXE, Kickstart) • Familiarity with common system monitoring tools (such as Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus) • Familiarity with resource scheduling software (such as Openlava, Slurm) • Knowledge of networking and security concepts; relevant certifications (such as RHCE, CCNA) are a plus • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to work under pressure • Innovative mindset with the ability to propose and implement effective system improvements
