Our mission is to craft games we love and create communities where everyone has a place to let their inner flame shine.
• Partner closely with the development team to drive and build gameplay features & tools for the first game • Work with designers to refine & evolve gameplay to delight players • Develop game technology and tools built in Unity using DOTS via C# • Collaboration in-person at the studio in Orange County or regular travel • Projects include feature implementation in ECS, tool development, optimization, animation features, camera and controls iteration, and new game mode creation • Contribute to multiple areas such as audio, UI, gameplay systems, optimizations • Have a large impact while collaborating with talented developers in a tight-knit AAA studio • Embrace unique perspectives on game development to grow as a team • Have a growth mindset, value helping others develop, and are passionate about the creative process
• Experience working on custom/heavily modified engines for AAA games • Deep understanding of multi-threaded architecture and asynchronous programming • Experience with ECS paradigms in game engines • Expertise in Networking, Animation, Character Physics, Controls, AI • Passion for driving alignment across engineering, art, and design • Ability to work with a diverse team, welcome different perspectives, and collaborate effectively • Value building trust with team members • Have a growth mindset, eager to learn and contribute in multiple areas
