Description
• Responsible for the monthly accounting close including preparing journal entries, analyzing and explaining fluctuations, and providing meaningful financial reporting • Understand relevant accounting principles and communicate such principles to the team and business partners • Analyze current procedures and make recommendations to develop and drive process improvements to achieve efficiency and scalability • Operate with minimum supervision • Special projects and impromptu reporting on request • Review transactions to ensure accounting treatment is in accordance with GAAP and company policies and procedures
Requirements
• 2-3+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience • Advanced MS Excel skills and experience • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong knowledge of and experience with US GAAP and accounting operations • CPA and recent Big Four experience highly preferred • Experience in a technology or high-growth company operating in a SOX environment • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent field • NetSuite Experience
