• Branch is a global technology company revolutionizing financial access for millions of underserved banking customers • Leading a small group of engineers working on core platform, technology, and new Africa-focused product initiatives • Contributing to growing the team and fostering a strong engineering culture • Setting the product & technical vision for Branch • Collaboration with stakeholders to achieve company goals • Hands-on technical contribution and mentorship • Crafting a long-term technical strategy while being pragmatic about current needs • Setting direction and ambitious goals for the team and Engineering • Remote role with option for occasional in-person work
Requirements
• 2+ years of engineering management experience • Experience handling performance reviews • 4+ years of experience as a software engineer • Record of mentorship and helping others in career growth • Experience and excitement for recruiting and team growth • Ability to work with the West African Time (WAT) zone
