Description

• Responsible for the management, maintenance, and optimization of the campus Jenzabar ERP system, Jenzabar EX, CX, J1. • Work closely with various campus departments to maintain and enhance the ERP, supporting the institution's needs and aiming for operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in system administration with significant expertise in managing Jenzabar ERP systems (EX, CX, J1). • Extensive experience in Windows or Linux operating systems and in a virtualized environment. • Strong proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and database administration, including performance tuning and best practices. • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, develop strategic solutions, and implement changes effectively. • Excellent communication and documentation skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively. • Prior experience in coordinating meetings and facilitating group discussions. • Leadership experience in managing technical projects, with a focus on enterprise application support. • Experience in developing and executing strategic technology plans that align with institutional goals. • Proficiency in other database systems is a plus, like MySQL, Informix, and Oracle. • Proficiency in SQL Server Reporting Services, Appeon Infomaker, and/or other reporting platforms. • Willingness to adhere to best practices related to change management, coding standards, software development lifecycle, customization documentation, and knowledge management in general. • Experience supporting other higher education software applications and/or their integrations with their ERP, like Canvas • Additional certifications in Microsoft, VMware, or related technologies. • Experience with scripting languages and understanding of network architectures.
