• Lead the Oakland office program director to support CEO program participants • Grow program, ensure sustainability, and help participants transition from incarceration • Hire, supervise, and support a local team to achieve program outcomes • Collaboratively develop and execute fund development strategy • Cultivate relationships with local criminal justice communities and organizations
• Deeply dedicated to and engaged in social justice • 5+ years of leadership and program management experience in a nonprofit environment • Working knowledge of the Oakland or general criminal justice and workforce development systems • People management experience to build and manage a diverse team • Understanding of performance-based goals and experience in achieving them • Strong attention to detail to juggle multiple projects • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and contribute to organizational growth • Experience with data collection, analysis, and application for strategic decision making • Experience engaging diverse stakeholders • Comfort with technology, including Google Suite and Salesforce • High personal integrity and commitment to excellence
