Description

• Reporting to the Manager, Technical Writing, the Senior Technical Writer will create, enhance, and maintain documentation for our product suite • Work in a highly collaborative agile environment • Create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation • Participate in collaborative documentation activities

Requirements

• 6+ years of related experience in technical writing, preferably in SaaS or software development • Proven experience with creating various types of software documentation including user manuals, API documentation, and online help systems • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) • Strong understanding of complex technical concepts and the ability to translate into clear, concise, user-friendly content • Strong organization skills and attention to detail • Experience defining templates, writing guidelines, and following content development workflow practices • Expertise with authoring tools (such as, MadCap Flare, Document 360), graphic design software (Photoshop, Visio, Adobe Illustrator), web content publishing are a plus • Experience with Agile is important, having acted as a scrum master is a plus • Experience with a variety of software development methodologies and project management tools • Experience writing materials aimed at users and administrators • Experience with HTML/CSS • Ability to be flexible and manage change, while balancing competing priorities • Empathy for customer feedback • Highly effective written and verbal communication, superb critical listening skills • Experience working in a technical role in a software environment is a plus • Experience using AI as an aid to create and improve content is a plus
