Description

• The Tax Manager is an essential member of our Finance team, managing and coordinating the organization’s tax compliance and planning activities, ensuring adherence to all federal, state, local, and foreign tax regulations. • This individual contributor role requires a strong understanding of tax laws, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently on complex tax issues. • Manage the preparation and review of federal, state, and local income tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Prepare quarterly and annual tax provision calculations in accordance with ASC 740. • Manage sales tax process including analyzing taxability, staying current with tax law changes and review of sales and use tax and VAT returns • Maintain and update tax records and documentation to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in tax, preferably a mix of public and industry. • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. • Proficiency in tax preparation and accounting software. • Proficiency with ERP systems such as Netsuite or Oracle. • Proficiency in financial reporting software and advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables). • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects, demonstrating a high level of initiative and self-motivation. • Ability to work Eastern Time Zone hours
