Description

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in NodeJS and TypeScript. You will develop and optimize RESTful APIs, implement business logic, and ensure data integrity across all services. • Work on integrating various third-party platforms and services, ensuring seamless data flow and reliability across systems. • Design and optimize database schemas in Postgres RDS and MongoDB, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security of data storage solutions. • Contribute to the design and evolution of our modular monolith architecture, focusing on scalability, performance, and security. • Implement and enforce security protocols, ensuring our systems comply with regulatory standards and protect user data. • Work closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements. • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Requirements

• 7+ years experience with backend development, preferably using NodeJS, NestJS, and TypeScript. • Proven experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs that integrate with third-party platforms. • Strong knowledge of database design and management (SQL and noSQL). • Experience with AWS, particularly with deploying and managing containerized applications. • A solid understanding of security best practices, particularly in a regulated fintech environment. Experience implementing security measures and ensuring compliance with industry standards. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems and ensure reliability and performance. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Experience working in cross-functional teams is a plus. • Ability to mentor and lead junior developers, providing technical guidance and promoting best practices.
