Description

• The Front-End Technology Lead (FETL) is responsible for designing and writing code, performing code reviews, developing technical documentation and becomes a key contributor in their team and project. A Front-End Technology Lead acts as a technical leader in projects, ensuring that the team maintains high levels of performance, and builds and strengthens the relationship with the client. • The FETL will work closely with clients, developers, system administrators, project managers, business analysts and end users.

Requirements

• Advanced English Proficiency (B2+ reading, writing, and conversation) • At least 5 years of experience working exclusively with Front-End technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) • Proven experience developing applications with React JS. (Experience with Next JS and Graph QL are also highly desired) • Work experience with cross-browser and cross-device compatibility • Work experience with Responsive development • Expert knowledge of recent development patterns and practices (Mobile First, MVC, Object Oriented development) • Expert knowledge on integrating front-end solutions with APIs and web services • Proficiency with popular JavaScript frameworks and cross-browser compatibility • Work experience configuring, using, and troubleshooting tools such as process automation & scripting (eg. Webpack or Gulp) and pre-process tools (eg. SASS, LESS) • Minimum of 2 years of proven track record as a technical team leader, communication, teamwork and leadership skills experience required. • Capable of configuring automation tools such as Webpack or Gulp and including common project tasks such as: pre-processing, minification, code obfuscation, etc. • Knowledge of design patterns (e.g., model-view-controller, observer, object oriented, etc.) and working with several mainstream libraries and frameworks (jQuery, Angular, VueJS, or any other) • Proficiency with data transfer formats and protocols popular in web applications (eg. JSON, XML, HTTP) • Capable of designing and choosing a quality assurance process for the project including guidelines for unit tests, load testing, performance testing • Capable of writing code compliant with modern accessibility (eg. ARIA, WCAG, Microformats, ADA, RDF) and SEO guidelines and best practices • Capable of working with new technologies and building proof of concept prototypes • Capable of troubleshooting, debugging and doing root cause analysis of web platform issues • BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline; or equivalent strong experience as Software Development Lead in exact areas of expertise required for CM (Digital Agencies projects, Web development projects, SCRUM/Agile software projects).
