Description

• Looking for Senior Staff / Principal Software engineers to help design and scale the carbon-reducing cloud computing platform • Responsible for guiding the engineering team's architectural strategy • Engage with various tools and frameworks for suitability in the engineering landscape • Developing and refining technical and team fit assessments, mentoring engineers, and contributing to their development • Collaborating with product teams, engineers, and infrastructure to craft robust, scalable systems extending across global data centers • Designing and executing groundbreaking features and projects • Playing a pivotal role in shaping the roadmap for cloud products • Mentoring emerging engineers for continuous learning

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software development experience • 10+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as Go, Rust, Java, or C++ • 10+ years of experience contributing to architecture and design of new and current systems • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience • 5+ years of mentorship, IC leadership or player / coach role • Computer Science fundamentals in data structures and algorithm design • Proven experience in building and maintaining scalable and highly available fault-tolerant distributed systems and application architectures • Solid understanding of infrastructure design • Familiarity with modern CI/CD practices and build systems • Familiarity with modern infrastructure tools • Experience in concurrency, multi-threading, and synchronization • Experience with Unix/Linux environments • Experience with TCP/IP and network programming • Excellent communication skills • Must pass a background check • Embody the Company values
