Description
• Review reports accompanying medical records for completeness • Communicate with physician reviewers and office teams to ensure clarity of information • Evaluate the quality of physician reports • Ensure claims support physician determinations • Provide strong customer service and quality assurance for cases • Provide oversight for complex cases • Serve as an additional level of QA and clinical claims knowledge/review • Additional duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements
• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred • RN preferred • 5+ years of claims experience preferred • Long Term Disability experience required • Business experience in healthcare and/or insurance setting preferred • Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines • Self-motivated with a drive for performance excellence • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required • Proficiency in navigating computer programs (Experience with Google Chrome, Gmail, Docs, Sheets, etc. is a plus) • Attention to detail required • Exceptional communication skills with a clear understanding of company business lines • Ability to apply critical thinking • Time management skills • Computer literacy and typing skills essential
