• Broad ownership of the hardware design, manufacturing, and capabilities of Dapster robots • Work on foundational technology and products • Fluid intelligence and creativity in problem-solving • Hands-on work using nearby machine shop to prototype solutions • Highly organized and articulate communication skills
Requirements
• Experience building and shipping robotics hardware components • Familiarity with prototyping, design, manufacturing, and shipping phases of development • Excellent fluency in CAD/CAM tools • Ability to think outside the box • Willingness to use hands-on work for prototyping • Highly organized and articulate communication skills • Nice-to-have: Proven ability to manage external contractors to high standards • Nice-to-have: Experience working with embedded systems software engineers • Nice-to-have: Ability to balance business needs with engineering puritanism
