Description
• Manage and optimize data infrastructure to support Navy operations • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines • Ensure efficient processing and integration of large data sets • Work closely with data scientists and analysts • Provide reliable data for analytics and decision-making • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop efficient data assets • Implement data integration, transformation, and cleanse pipelines • Design and implement data models and schemas • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and data quality issues • Manage and monitor data storage, backup, and recovery systems • Perform data validation, testing, and ongoing data quality assurance
Requirements
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD issued Secret Clearance • Bachelor’s degree in engineering • Local to the Norco, CA area • 5+ years of demonstrable professional experience working as a Data Engineer • Expert knowledge of data processing and transformation techniques • In-depth understanding of data warehousing concepts and technologies • Experience with Python, SQL, and/or other coding languages • Experience working with Git • Experience with data engineering low code and no code tools • Proficiency in designing and implementing data models and schemas • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment • Effective communication and collaboration abilities
