Description
• The company was founded in late 2021 by three experienced business leaders who have established a performant and scalable Go To Market motion complemented by strong, no cost viral loops on the backs of our MVP. • As our Engineering Lead, you are the product manager of the engineering team – the product or output you are responsible for is a high-performing team that delivers on time. • You will report directly to the cofounder/CEO and partner with him to bring our product vision to life, refine our technology stack, and scale our platform.
Requirements
• Proven leader: You have done this before. You have experience in a technical leadership role in a high growth startup. You have a mix of role-specific domain knowledge, technical abilities, and people skills. You have experience building and scaling engineering teams. • Critical thinking: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. You question assumptions and provide clear and coherent reasons for decisions. • O to 1: Previous experience founding or building very early stage products for users and growing the product successfully. • Navigating ambiguity: You deeply understand early stage startups and the inherent ambiguity. You can make sense out of ambiguous or contradictory messages then drive toward a clear path to execution. • Tech stack: • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Django is essential. • Experience with at least one of the front-end technologies like Svelte, React, Angular. • Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools like Docker and Kubernetes. • Strong database knowledge (Postgres preferable). • Bonus Points: Experience with mobile app development.
