Description

• Lead the development and implementation of compliance risk management system. • Work closely with executive leadership to identify, assess, and mitigate potential compliance risks. • Develop and implement comprehensive compliance risk management strategies and frameworks. • Identify, assess, and prioritize potential risks to the organization. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance risk management practices. • Monitor and analyze emerging compliance risks and regulatory changes. • Prepare and present compliance risk reports to executive leadership. • Develop and manage a team of compliance professionals. • Continuously improve compliance risk management processes and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or commensurate work experience. • Juris Doctor (JD) preferred (not required) • Minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management, preferably within the FinTech or financial services industry. • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful compliance management systems including but not limited to; policy and procedure writing, risk based monitoring and testing function, and development of the compliance risk assessment. • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to compliance risk management. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret legal guidance and translate the guidance into control environments. • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey compliance risk concepts to audiences who are not compliance professionals. • Relevant professional designations preferred but not required; (e.g CRCM, CIA, CPA etc.) • Understanding of relevant industry regulations, handbooks, bulletins, supervisory letters, (e.g., OCC Handbook; Compliance Management Systems, FRB SR-08-8, etc.)
