• Collaborate with the Engineering organization to define acceptance test procedures and calibration procedures • Develop roadmaps, strategies, schedules, and staffing plans to support the Test Services organization activities • Build a highly efficient team of test engineers and technicians • Design, build and maintain automated manufacturing acceptance testers and calibration fixtures for printed circuit boards assemblies (PCBA) and robot subsystems • Conduct environmental and reliability tests for the robot hardware • Build and maintain test platforms to support engineering design verification • Provide test services including board reworks and cable assemblies to support testing and prototyping • Identify gaps and continuously improve processes and solutions
• Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related field • At least 5 years of management experience in test engineering • Hands-on experience with programming, test automation, and python • Hands-on experience designing and testing printed circuit boards assemblies (PCBA) • Good understanding of communication buses and protocols like Ethernet, TCP/IP, Ethercat, Serial, CAN or USB • Expert using lab instruments (Data acquisition systems, Oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies etc.) • Strong verbal and written communication skills
• 5 days/week in-office collaboration • Based in Sunnyvale, CA
