Description
• Support firsthand's executive team to enable innovation while identifying potential business risks and mitigation strategies • Oversee and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations by auditing processes, implementing policies and procedures, and monitoring adherence to those policies • Stay up-to-date with evolving healthcare regulations • Develop, implement, and oversee company compliance and privacy programs and policies • Conduct regular internal audits • Partner with IT to address compliance and privacy issues • Collaborate with Learning and Development team to train employees on compliance and privacy standards
Requirements
• 5+ years experience in a senior compliance role within the healthcare industry • Bachelor's degree required, MBA and/or JD highly preferred • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail • Openness in sharing best practices and challenges with executive leadership • Experience in an early-stage or growth company preferred
