• Be the primary fiscal contact for sub-recipients and funders; understand specific grant requirements; ensure compliance on contract conditions and assurances; ensure reporting requirements are met • Assist in the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, including accounts payable, general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, etc. • Collaborate with program managers and department heads to provide financial guidance and support for grant management and reporting • Approve invoices and expenses related to various programs managed • Stay updated on accounting regulations, nonprofit industry standards, and best practices • Assist in the annual audit process by preparing supporting schedules, coordinating with auditors, and addressing inquiries
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 2-5 years of progressive nonprofit accounting experience • Experience with nonprofit accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Blackbaud) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
