Description

• Architect and develop a complex and high-performing native Android application • Solve difficult technical problems with a cutting edge Android stack • Create Android infrastructure such as build-pipelines, testing automation, release process, etc • Provide project leadership to break down, estimate, and organize work • Participate in code reviews and provide guidance and mentorship on software development best practices • Communicate progress and risks to the leadership team • Build a product that our customers genuinely love!

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience developing, architecting, optimizing and shipping high performance Android applications • Experience with large Android codebases and complex, high-performance apps • Strong product focus and acumen • Strong computer science fundamentals and problem solving skills • Strong verbal and written communication & collaboration skills • Passionate about solutions while humble in the face of opposing ideas • Desire to embrace the way engineering is changing (more immutable data, functional patterns, etc) while also being intensely pragmatic • Experience with CRDTs is a plus
