Description

• Lead the architecture and implementation of large-scale features and improvements across our web application platform • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers, fostering their growth and development • Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to define and execute on the technical roadmap • Identify and proactively address technical debt and scalability challenges • Evaluate and recommend technological changes or approaches to improve our development process and product quality • Contribute to hiring decisions and help define engineering best practices • Act as a technical liaison with other teams and stakeholders, effectively communicating complex technical concepts • Promote a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and effective collaboration across teams • Make technical decisions with business strategy in mind

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field • Expert-level knowledge of React, Redux, TypeScript, and modern front-end development practices • Extensive experience with authentication, API query patterns, performant management of complex app state, and robust web application architectures • Strong understanding of web performance optimization and scalability concerns • Experience with system design and making architectural decisions that impact entire projects or product lines • Expertise in coordinating the integration of designs or APIs from other teams or external providers, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance technical trade-offs • Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to successfully explain concepts to audiences of varying technical proficiency
