Description
• Quality Engineer position reporting to Manufacturing and Quality Manager • Work closely with programmers, engineers, and technicians • Responsible for ensuring delivery of quality products to customers • Develop and improve quality control processes and procedures • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality requirements are met throughout product lifecycle • Manage quality inspection team • Perform inspections and audits to identify non-conformities and areas for improvement • Establish and maintain quality metrics • Investigate root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions • Provide training and guidance on quality standards and procedures • Participate in design reviews and risk assessments • Support customer inquiries related to product quality and reliability
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or 3 years of quality engineering experience in lieu of degree • Ability to read and interpret GD&T diagrams • Proven experience in quality engineering or similar role in aerospace manufacturing or robotics industry • Familiarity and experience with metrology tools and gauges • Strong knowledge of quality management principles, tools, and methodologies • Excellent problem-solving skills • Fantastic communication skills • Detail-oriented and self-motivated • Passion for delivering high-quality products and improving processes
