• Execute monthly closing tasks, including preparing journal entries, performing reconciliations, and conducting variance analyses. • Lead the creation and implementation of accounting processes from the ground up. • Partner with operations, production, and engineering teams to ensure precise and timely reporting. • Analyze manufacturing cost discrepancies and develop solutions to prevent future variances. • Manage standard costing procedures, offering support and guidance on complex issues. • Drive process enhancements and implement best practices to optimize product costing accuracy. • Ensure accurate inventory valuation, enhance internal controls, and implement necessary improvements. • Assist the Director of Finance with various special projects as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with an emphasis in Accounting • 5+ years of relevant accounting experience • CPA/CPA Eligibility preferred, but not required • Proven experience in establishing and maintaining standard costing systems, overhead allocation methods, and inventory reconciliation processes • Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects with tight deadlines • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/MRP systems
