Description
• This is our first Lead Platform Engineering opening within our growing technology department. • We are seeking an experienced developer who can define key pieces of architecture for services at Henry Meds. • Much of the work you will be tasked with is greenfield beginnings, you will help improve the developer experience overall for commonly used service platforms and high-level pieces of infrastructure! • As a Lead Platform Engineer, you will work closely with our Director of Engineering and IT to create these control frameworks.
Requirements
• 8+ years experience as a Platform Engineer, Developer, or DevOps Engineer. • You have designed, built, scaled and maintained production services. • A proactive ownership mentality, constantly improving platform resilience and efficiency. • You have built systems on GCP. • Hands-on experience with Terraform or an IAC equivalent to manage production environments. • Experience designing and implementing serverless architectures. • Proficiency with cloud-native development patterns and practices. • Experience with multi-cloud resilience, auto scaling rules, and CDNs. • Experience with off site backup solutions. • You write high quality, well tested code. • You can be hands-on when needed – writing/reviewing code or technical documents, participating in on-call rotations and leading incidents, or triaging/troubleshooting bugs. • Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance requirements.
