Description

• Develop and implement a comprehensive communications and public policy strategy that sets the overarching narrative and goals for the company. • Lead all interactions and engagements with media, investors, policymakers, and shareholders to promote and defend the company’s interests. • Manage agency resources effectively, ensuring a strategic balance between proactive communications (offense) and reactive messaging (defense). • Oversee the creation of press releases, white papers, and position statements, ensuring they align with strategic objectives. • Coordinate with the executive leadership team to craft key messages for public dissemination that reflect HeyGen’s mission and values.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in a leadership role within communications or public policy, preferably in the technology or AI industry. • Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies and shaping public policy. • Strong understanding of media operations and experience in managing high-level interactions with journalists, investors, and government officials. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to a broad range of audiences. • Strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Demonstrated experience in issues management and public affairs.
