Description

• Risk Assessment: Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities in our systems. • Incident Response: Lead the technical response to security incidents and breaches, ensuring timely mitigation and post-incident reviews. • Security Solutions: Design, implement, and maintain various security solutions such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption protocols, etc. • Security Policies: Develop and update the company’s security policies, standards, and guidelines. • Awareness & Training: Conduct security awareness training sessions and workshops for employees. • Collaboration: Work closely with IT and development teams to ensure the secure development and deployment of products. • Monitoring: Monitor system logs and network traffic for suspicious activity. • Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. • 3+ years of experience in a security engineer role. • Strong knowledge of various security frameworks, standards, and best practices. • Familiarity with web-related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service-Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols. • Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and technologies. • Proficient in scripting or programming languages like Python, Bash, or Java. • Relevant professional certifications, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), etc. • Experience with cloud security best practices (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Knowledge of data protection regulations and frameworks.
