Description

• Be a collaborative team player, learning from and contributing to your peers • Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable and efficient services aimed at increasing operational efficiency • Identify areas for improvement in current codebases and solutions, continuously enhancing them through refactoring, unit testing, system testing, and automating deployment and operations • Provide constructive feedback on code developed by fellow engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices such as style guidelines, code accuracy, testability, and efficiency • Maintain a deep understanding of business requirements, working closely with stakeholders, including external partners like loan officers and real estate agents, to address their needs effectively • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, platform, DevOps, data, product, and analytics, to consider broader implications of design decisions beyond technical aspects • Make informed engineering and product decisions through data analysis and collaboration, focusing on empowering operations and enhancing efficiency across the organization

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience working as an engineer • 3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails and ReactJS • Experience designing, building, deploying, operating, and maintaining service-oriented architecture • Strong experience with relational and non-relational database technologies • Ability to deal with ambiguous and complex project requirements • Demonstrates proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing • Experience with observability and monitoring systems (NewRelic, Cloudwatch, Sentry)
