• Learn and understand how electrical signals drive quantum operations of spin qubits • Collaborate with scientists and engineers to understand and refine control requirements • Develop, implement, and document measurement techniques to characterize control system performance • Contribute to specification and design of custom electronic equipment • Become an expert at spin qubit control and advise on complex trade space • Create and perform advanced measurements to validate control systems • Perform on technical teams tackling high-risk, high-impact qubit control problems
• Knowledge of electrical engineering with a strong applications focus • Comfortable with electrical circuit design and measurement techniques for high-bandwidth and high fidelity analog signals • Knowledge in circuit design, microwave/RF engineering and analysis, low-noise measurement techniques • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills • Ability and desire to work in a collaborative, team-based environment that integrates computer science, data science, physics, and engineering
