• Lead Systems Engineering activities for research and development • Work on disruptive technologies • Provide innovative solutions to complex technical problems • Collaborate with a dynamic team of research scientists and engineers • Define system architecture, modeling, and design • Conduct system engineering task execution • Integrate technologies with larger system concepts • Develop and maintain new tools and processes • Lead formal reviews and lab demonstrations
• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry • 15+ years of experience in ASIC (Analog & Digital), FPGA, and firmware design • Experience in system design, analysis, modeling, simulation, verification and validation • Strong communication skills • Ability to work in an agile model-based system engineering environment • Experience leading trades, defining architectures, and developing requirements • U.S. Citizenship required with current Tier 5 (T5) background investigation or agreement to Continuous Evaluation program
