Description
• Design, build and maintain highly scalable and secure web applications, services, and APIs • Guide team members, product managers, and stakeholders to solve the right problems and build the best solutions for customer needs • Shape how we use test driven development practices and/or test frameworks to ensure features are shipped defect-free • Act as a mentor to junior developers through code reviews and document critiques • Proven track record of owning and shipping features end to end with thorough automated test coverage, observability, monitoring, and documentation
Requirements
• 8+ years developing web applications using OOP languages • 4+ years experience working with Ruby on Rails • Strong understanding of querying techniques and optimizations on relational databases • Experience working on B2C applications, particularly in user onboarding, activation, notifications, or SEO • Experience with cloud-based platforms like GCP, Docker, Kubernetes or Nomad
