Description

• Debug any engine, gameplay or software issues that may arise • Implement designed gameplay features • Implementing or extending engine features • Performing code reviews • Mentor other programmers to improve overall quality of code • Work with multiple projects and ensure core systems remain portable • Implement AI systems to better facilitate design’s plans • Plan future improvements for AI to ensure relevance to players • Regularly playtest builds and provide professional feedback to the team • Share thoughts on improving company culture, creative process, and game delivery

Requirements

• 4+ years in the video game industry, specifically with AI Engineering experience and at least 2 shipped titles • Strong experience with source control • Write fluent portable C++ code • Experience with modern game platforms (PC, Xbox, PS, Switch) • Experience with profiling and optimization techniques • Experience working on multiplayer games • Familiarity with a wide range of gameplay systems including AI, physics, networking and rendering • Strict use of code names and complete confidentiality of project information
