• Develop, deploy, and own data acquisition and control system software in support of liquid rocket propulsion and spacecraft systems testing • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements for data acquisition and control • Find ways to continuously improve the user experience of interfacing with the software • Develop drivers for instruments and devices to plug into our LabVIEW software framework • Invest in and utilize a common software stack (drivers, software framework, data warehouse, etc.) across test programs
• Demonstrated experience developing a data acquisition and control system using LabVIEW • Experience writing software to control instruments such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, etc. • Experience working with NI hardware, and/or Beckhoff hardware • Deep understanding of object-oriented best practices, such as SOLID • Experience working with actor-oriented software frameworks, such as the LabVIEW frameworks DQMH, Workers, or Actor Framework • Proficiency with Linux • Experience in a startup or agile development environment • Experience safely operating hazardous systems (high voltage, high pressure, etc)
