Description
• Work closely with sales, marketing, product, procurement, and operations teams to gather information on promotions, new product launches, and other factors that influence demand • Create comprehensive demand plans based on sales forecasts and customer demand • Proactively seek opportunities to improve existing business practices • Develop and maintain production and inventory transfer plans for all SKUs and sales channels (DTC, Amazon, B2B) • Use data from various sources to analyse key themes, market trends, customer demand, and sales data • Track actual sales against forecasted demand, generating regular reports to evaluate forecast accuracy and make necessary adjustments • Identify and address potential risks that may impact supply chain efficiency and product availability • Be willing to wear many hats as needed, assisting our talented warehouse team with tasks such as coordinating freight transportation, leading the team, or packing orders
Requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial • A willingness to constantly learn and refine processes to optimise the entire supply chain • The ability to anticipate potential issues or challenges in the supply chain and respond effectively • Flexibility to adjust to changing business circumstances and a knack for finding creative solutions to problems • The readiness to occasionally work outside regular hours to coordinate with teams in China • Familiarity with Demand Planning in Fulfill or Oracle ERP systems • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets • The ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency
