Description
• Lead the development of new features and improvements across our platform • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve the software • Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to align on product goals and deliver high-quality solutions • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team, promoting best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment • Design and implement scalable and secure architectures, leveraging AWS services to optimize performance and cost-efficiency • Adhere to professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience • 5+ years relevant work experience • Proficiency in React/Javascript - Typescript experience a plus • Proficiency in Ruby/Ruby on Rails • Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as NodeJS, Python, Rust, Go, Java or others • Experience in GraphQL and APIs • Expertise in one or more of the major public clouds, preferably AWS
