• Develop, implement, and maintain inventory compliance policies and procedures in line with industry standards and organizational requirements • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including information technology, facilities, operations, and finance, to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance at all stages of the supply chain • Serve as the organization's liaison with state and federal consultants and the respective procurement requirements, including formal and informal procurement methods • Conduct regular audits of inventory data, processes, and transactions to identify discrepancies, inefficiencies, and non-compliance issues • Monitor inventory levels, inventory turns, and aging stock, making recommendations for optimization and efficient resource allocation • Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies to ensure adherence to all relevant compliance and reporting requirements • Investigate discrepancies and variances in inventory records and lead efforts to resolve and prevent such issues • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address compliance deficiencies and improve inventory accuracy • Train and educate staff on inventory compliance best practices and ensure their understanding of company policies • Analyze inventory-related data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvements • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on inventory compliance status, key performance indicators, and recommended improvements • Stay current with industry regulations, best practices
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) are a plus • Proven experience in inventory management, compliance, or related roles, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience • Strong understanding of inventory control best practices, compliance regulations, and industry standards • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities • Proficiency in inventory management software and data analysis tools • Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners • Leadership and supervisory experience are a plus • Strong organizational and time-management skills
