Description

• Maintain visual integrity and consistency for all assigned KiwiCo lines • Conceptualize and execute creative assets to better the product experience • Create beautiful visual solutions that advance the KiwiCo brand via typography, photography, color, illustration, and other visual mediums • Establish and coordinate art direction for our illustration and photography teams • Partner with product design and editorial teams to create clear, concise assembly instructions that ensure an optimal product experience • Manage time wisely to ensure all projects are completed by deadline with ample time for revisions • Accept constructive feedback openly with a positive attitude • Assist with organizing and archiving all visual and graphic assets • Perform simple illustration editing and photo retouching tasks

Requirements

• 1-2+ years experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role • Stellar portfolio demonstrating a refined aesthetic sense, a strong understanding of typography, layout, and color theory • High-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign and Illustrator • Experience designing for print collateral • Ability to adapt to a brand’s existing visual style • Photo editing and some retouching experience • Broad operating range – you think strategically and have an impeccable eye for detail with a strong sense of visual hierarchy, typography, layout • Self-starter who is resourceful and flexible – has the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and meet changing deadlines on multiple simultaneous projects • Obsessively detail-oriented – able to manage all the details and meet a high bar for accuracy and quality • Collaborative – able to contribute to a cross-functional team while maintaining open communication and feedback • Experience working in a startup environment and designing for children is a plus
